Associated Content's Programming team is where "Moneyball" meets the media industry. The Programming Manager will analyze and evaluate the content market – both inside and outside AC's online platform – to identify and recognize opportunities, then help integrate that analysis into our day-to-day content operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. ANALYSIS
- Understand Associated Content's existing and incoming programming
• Breadth and Depth: Where are the content gaps and areas for expansion?
• Performance: Analysis of both historical/seasonal and daily/weekly trends.
• Forecasting: What does current programming say about where we need to go?
• Follow, understand and communicate trends in online programming.

2. ACQUISITION
- Influence Associated Content's future programming decision-making
• Apply analytical findings to inform content-acquisition decisions.
• Track external sources and resources for evaluation of content ideas.
• Convert insights into new ideas and match ideas against existing programming.
• Inform the valuation process of new and existing content.

Requirements:
• 3+ years of media industry experience (Programming, Finance, Marketing or BizDev)
• Demonstrated analytical orientation and skill-set
• Expertise in and enthusiasm for the intersection of consumer and emerging media
• Self-starter: Ability to get high-level direction and run with it
• Ability to work with a team located in multiple cities
• You will work closely with every group across the company
• Presentation skills: Both mechanical (Excel, PowerPoint) and interpersonal
• BA/BS degree with solid academic credentials
