Accounting Manager, Denver, CO or New York, NY

Associated Content, The People's Media Company, is looking for an energetic, team-oriented accounting manager to run its day-to-day accounting operations.

Responsibilities:
Help direct / develop accounting policies, including revenue recognition and collections
Help coordinate annual audit and tax return preparation
Perform monthly performance / variance analyses
Participate in forecasting and budgeting, as well as perform other ad hoc financial analysis
Billing and invoicing
A/R and collections
Payables
Treasury management
Payroll
Coordinate all financial records
Update and maintain all general ledger inputs

Job Qualifications
College degree or Bachelors degree required
3+ years of bookkeeping / accounting experience (new media experience preferred)
Proficiency with QuickBooks

Preferred Qualities
Well-versed in online advertising and online media
Experience with commission, stock option and/or incentive programs
CPA
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized
Self-starter
Responsive and professional
Outstanding follow-up / follow-through and time management skills
Certified QuickBooks proficiency at Intermediate or Advanced level
